Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Worker I to join their team. As a Warehouse Worker I, you will be part of the operations department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Worker I

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Pay Range: $18.50 per hour

Shift: Daylight 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What's the Job?

Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer.

Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.

Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.

Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or GED required.

0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.

Experience driving a sit-down forklift is required; stand-up forklift experience is preferred.

Basic understanding of computer operations and ability to read and enter information into computer programs.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
