Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Fabrication Laborer to join our team in the fabrication/finishing department. The role involves fabricating fiberglass structures and includes tasks such as packing, crating, drilling holes, applying handles, sealing ends of products, and making angle cuts with a chop saw. You will work with nail guns, chop saws, drills, and other hand tools. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

Pack and crate fiberglass products.

Drill holes and apply handles to products.

Seal ends of products and makes angle cuts using a chop saw.

Utilize a variety of hand tools and power tools, including nail guns and drills.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

Ability to pass a tape measure test.

At least 3 months of experience in production, construction, or manufacturing.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, ratchets, screwdrivers, tape measures, hammers, power drills, and nail guns.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

No formal qualifications required beyond passing the tape measure test.

Good attendance and reliability are crucial.

Work Environment

Work in a fiberglass environment where steel toe boots are required. The facility is generally clean but can be itchy and have a strong odor. The dress code is casual, with jeans and t-shirts being acceptable. Work is organized in rotating 12-hour shifts , running from 6 PM to 6 AM, with a schedule that allows for four days off after every four working days.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
