Job Description

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is currently seeking aFront Office Night Supervisorto join our team.

This key role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and professional check-in and check-out of guests, delivering exceptional service, and overseeing nightly front office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front desk procedures, guest services, and interdepartmental coordination to help ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences throughout the night.

Responsibilities

Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.

Address and resolve guest scenarios courteously and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Oversee and support all front desk operations, including the completion of A.M. and P.M. Front Desk checklists, PBX Checklist, and Guest Service Duties.

Train new associates in front desk procedures, guest services, and operational systems.

Serve as the acting supervisor for the Front Desk/Guest Services team in the absence of the Assistant Manager.

Utilize and maintain proficiency in technical systems, including:

Opera, Vision, Synergy, Nucleolus, Epitome, and Vingcard systems.

Medialla, Rate Discrepancy, NXTV, Tax Exempt processes, and .com/wholesale bookings.

Manage and monitor reservation special packages and reports (e.g., Complimentary Rooms Report).

Understand and communicate radio codes and hotel emergency procedures.

Ensure familiarity with all hotel facilities and their inter-departmental relationships.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and courtesy.

Proficiency in cash handling and reconciliation.

Advanced computer and technical skills, including familiarity with office equipment (copiers, fax machines, radios, and Nextel).

Strong training and leadership abilities.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Work Environment:

Primarily indoors, with occasional exposure to exterior conditions.

Tools/Equipment:

Opera, Vision, Synergy, Nucleolus systems, and standard office equipment such as copiers and fax machines.
