Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales & Marketing to lead our sales team and drive the company's revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company's marketing strategy, managing relationships with core accounts, and developing new accounts. The VP of Sales & Marketing will lead sales presentations to all large accounts, provide sales leadership to regional sales managers, and cultivate relationships with key vendors. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for implementing cost-saving initiatives for the tooling group, approving customer contracts, and working closely with the President and attorneys. The VP of Sales & Marketing will also be expected to attend company meetings, oversee pricing strategy, and set and achieve sales and margin goals. Furthermore, the candidate will play a crucial role in new business development and will be instrumental in driving the company's growth and success.

Primary Responsibilities:

Plans, directs, and coordinates the marketing of the organization's products and services

Participates in developing, interpreting, and implementing company policies and procedures

Plans, controls, and directs activities of the sales force to obtain maximum sales volume and to develop maximum potential volume from all markets of the organization

Provide sales leadership and guidance to regional sales managers to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.

Manage and nurture relationships with core accounts to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Lead sales presentations to all large accounts to communicate the value proposition and drive sales.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure favorable terms and support for the company's sales activities.

Continually evaluates the market and adjusts market strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions

Responsible for training new Sales Directors

Prepares sales forecasts for use in the organizations operating budget

Contract negotiations and contract review

Attend all company meetings to provide sales insights and contribute to overall company strategy.

Approve pricing structure

Develop target account list

Prospect and qualify new accounts

Qualify prospective accounts generated by outside sales

Other duties as assigned

Professional Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Proven track record of success in sales leadership and business development, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales management role.

Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute sales plans and initiatives.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets in a competitive market environment.

Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team.

Experience in negotiating complex contracts and agreements.

Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in sales and marketing.
