This is a direct hire Operations Manager position, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their competitive benefit and vacation package upon hire.

Position Information:
Champion a safe and healthy work environment, proactively addressing hazards and driving continuous improvement in all aspects of employee safety.
Provide clear leadership and direction to both salaried and hourly manufacturing teams, ensuring effective day-to-day operations and fostering long-term process improvements.
Engage employees at all levels to achieve cost reduction goals while maintaining high standards in quality and customer service.
Coordinate plant resources and teams to efficiently address operational challenges and improve performance metrics.
Ensure adherence to company policies and principles throughout the workforce, cultivating a culture of accountability and respect.
Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and key personnel to enhance their professional contributions and value to the organization.
Communicate performance and progress toward departmental goals in safety, quality, and cost to all employees, promoting transparency and alignment.
Lead and oversee cost reduction initiatives, budget development, hiring efforts, and overall management of operational responsibilities to meet or exceed plant objectives.
Required Experience:
Minimum of 43 to 5 years of overall experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a front-line supervisory role preferred.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with proven ability to guide and motivate teams.
Solid understanding of general manufacturing processes and operations.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, adaptable for both formal and informal interactions.
Confidence and skill in leading large group presentations.
Strong problem-solving abilities, utilizing structured methodologies to address challenges.
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially when managing sensitive or complex employee relations issues.
Ability to thrive and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
