The Undersea systems directorate is seeking a Program Associate Director to the Barracuda Program. This mine neutralization program is a Navy Program of Record where the current focus is on maturing the neutralizer from design through qualification testing, while simultaneously executing Engineering Development Model (EDM) production. The Barracuda is a semi-autonomous underwater system with sensors and effectors that reacquire and neutralize undersea mines. The PM will bring the program through production of contractor test assets, qualification testing, production of customer test assets, and eventually Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP), with initial operating capability (IOC) in 2029. The team is comprised of an integrated support structure for the operation of all programs, with an integrated functional and engineering team.
The Barracuda Associate Director will be a critical member of the Undersea senior leadership team. This position will lead and manage a team and varied portfolio, acting as the lead customer interface. The role will set expectations and priorities for the portfolio, ensuring all customer needs are met and exceeded. A positive program culture is a critical element of the success of this program and therefore needs a leader who can drive this vision.

What You Will Do:
Provide portfolio leadership including strategic growth input and accountability for the long range & annual operating plan and risk and opportunity management.
Establishes and maintains key program metrics, defines program milestones/critical path/tactical direction and monitor adherence to program budgets and schedules ensuring program meets customer's needs, schedule and financials as defined within the contract.
Priority setting for Engineering through Chief Engineer, CPT Leads
Principle customer interface for shaping current active contracts with government and industry partners and future growth into Organizational, Intermediate and Depot level support, Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) funded capabilities and international markets
Drive functional engagement, support and staffing, ensure appropriate metrics keeping and actions for production including Risks and Opportunities
Implementation and execution of RTX Program Lifecycle Model (RLPM)
Quarterly Program Review coordination with customer
Develop strategic road map for autonomous mine neutralizer programs and technologies
Travel to customer and industry partner sites including Wahington DC, Panama City Beach, San Diego (up to 25%)
Conducts routine leader coordination Meetings with immediate staff (PMs, CE, Finance, Contracts)

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years' experience

Prior People Management/Manager experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
Understanding mine warfare tactics and operations
Understanding and experience with DOD customer acquisition, budgeting, export policy, and offset process
Proven track record of customer relationship building
Leadership experience to include developing and mentoring others
Experience and demonstrated success managing change
Demonstrated complex program execution experience managing program staffing, assignments, and resources
Strong proficiency in partnering in matrixed organizations
Strong proficiency in developing and presenting Strategic Plans, AOP, Technology Roadmaps, and planning to senior management, and responsibility for executing approved plans
Ability to focus, evaluate, motivate, and reward the teams, enabling them to achieve desired results ? ?

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
