Medical Equipment Specialist

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a friendly and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a experience in customer service and office support, especially in a healthcare or call center setting. You'll be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations at our medical equipment and accessories front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients upon arrival and provide a welcoming experience

Answer and return phone messages (main call center handles most incoming calls)

Assist patients with over-the-counter sales of soft goods and accessories

Dispense medical equipment and soft goods billed to insurance (e.g., walkers, bath safety items, orthopedic supports)

Provide patient instruction on all dispensed items

Unpack shipments (up to 30 lbs) and assemble equipment

Enter patient demographics and other data accurately

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of customer service experience

Ability to @type at least 40 WPM (typing test required)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
