Litigation Administrator
Schedule: In office Monday through Thursday work-from-home Friday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES/REQUIREMENTS:
Roles Responsibilities:
The Litigation Administrator will be responsible for managing SEAs litigation docket which includes class actions commercial litigation intellectual property litigation product liability cases small claims cases and agency/administrative matters. This role will ensure that SEA Litigation team is hitting all the marks in its defense of the Samsung brand. Based out of SEAs new U.S. headquarters in Englewood Cliffs New Jersey the role will report to Director Se nior Legal Counsel Litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage litigation case docket ensuring timely and accurate tracking of all litigation proceedings including class actions product liability commercial litigation and small claims cases in federal and state court.
Assist in monitoring and updating case progress ensuring all tasks are completed within required timelines.
Perform timely data entry and maintain organized records of case-related documents and information.
Support responses to elevated consumer complaints.
Manage outside counsel administrative matters.
Work closely with attorneys paralegals and other support staff to ensure seamless case management.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to litigation processes.
Maintain accurate records of all litigation-related activities for auditing and reporting purposes.
Qualifications:
Rec ent grad uate with a Bachelors degree. Focus on law business administration or a related field is preferred but not required.
Strong interest in law is a plus but not required.
Submission of a writing sample.
Skills:
Highly organized.
Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently including when handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Possess a strong attention to detail but also the ability to identify critical aspects of a task or project ensuring accuracy and thoroughness while efficiently filtering out unnecessary information.
Communicate effectively and concisely orally and in writing.
Ability to pivot from working independently to part of a fast-paced team.
Proficient in Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook and One Note.
Basic understanding of litigation process and/or legal terms is a plus but not required.
Writing Sample:
The General Counsel has asked that you draft an email for the business team about the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals two recent decisions in the Epic Games Inc. v. Google LLC et al. appeal. Weve been monitoring this case for some time so the business team is vaguely aware about the dispute but we need to summarize the recent developments for them. Please take a look at these two articles to draft your summary email. Your email should be clear and concise fewer than 250 words. Be sure to identify any potential impacts on Samsung.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
