Schedule & Pay

1B: 5am to 5:30pm - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday ($21/hr)

2B: 5pm to 5:30am - Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday ($22/hr)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to load and unload freight from vehicles and containers, ensuring that each item is accurately sorted according to size and destination. This role requires the ability to read, decode, and decipher freight coding to expedite movement and tracing processes. Additional responsibilities include reconciling driver pick-up and delivery manifests, labeling, weighing, and dimensionalizing freight, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The ideal candidate must be capable of performing all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Load and unload inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.

Sort freight according to size and destination.

Read, decode, and decipher freight coding for expedited movement and tracing.

Reconcile driver pick-up and delivery manifests.

Label, weigh, and dimensionalize freight.

Maintain cleanliness and safety of the dock area.

Record damaged shipments and misrouted freight in reports.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in operating a stand-up forklift and reach truck.

Experience in material handling and inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Forklift Operator certification.

Equipment Operator experience.

Ability to perform accurate inventory counts.

This is a Contract position based out of Independence, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
