PC Technician, Mid

Key Role:

Performs a variety of services in support of End Users or Missions for the various components and commands residing at the locations assigned and as directed by leadership. Troubleshoots and proactively resolves technical issues. Provides technical problem solving for customer support of database. Installs, configures, and maintains desktop and laptop PCs, mobile devices and peripherals, such as printers. Installs and configures application and operating system software and upgrades. Troubleshoots and repairs hardware and network connectivity issues. Removes old equipment and performs data migration to new machines. Maintains an inventory of installed software, manages software licensing, and assists with creating policies and procedures for upgrades. Works with hardware and software vendors to verify timely product delivery and ensures that new equipment is installed and ready to operate on schedule. Analyzes and makes recommendations for hardware and software standardization

Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of experience with troubleshooting IT hardware, sof tware, and VDI client hardware and Sof tware

Experience with using Remedy for receiving, documenting and closing tickets

Knowledge of SCCM, McAfee, InTune, Forescout, Tiviolo, or Hypori

Ability to oversee and guide junior techni cia ns in day-to-day duties

TS / SCI clearance

HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience as a PC Techni cia n, or Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics ( STEM ) field and 2+ years of experience as a PC Techni cia n

DoD IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with working in a government environment

Possession of excellent customer service skills

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
