For more information, visit www.gf.com.Job Description Support and conduct commodity sourcing and managementDevelop, implement, and communicate company policies and procedures for purchasingPrepare and execute RFQs, meeting company requirements and policies. May need to negotiate with suppliersAnalyze data to drive insights for cost and supply continuity opportunitiesMay coordinate purchasing activities with Fabs and Central Planning teamsUnderstand supplier roadmap and generate relevant insightsMonitor the cost, schedule and performance metrics of contracts and subcontractsWork on other projects and/or assignments as neededJob ComplexityAble to dissect complex problems and solve them or identify solutionsHighly comfortable with ambiguous challengesAccountabilityNormally receive very little guidance on day-to-day work and general guidance on new assignmentsMake decisions that impact processes in other functions or geographies in an ethical and professional mannerIdentify proactively cross functional process improvements and cost management activities consistent with company objectivesRelationship FocusNetwork with internal and external stakeholdersKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesGood Degree in STEM or Business disciplinesMore than 7 years of experience in roles with significant international scopeAble to handle complex analysis in Excel and Power BIGlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
