Overview:

Step into a dynamic role where your talent and ambition will directly shape our success. As our next Excess Casualty Underwriter for the Central Region, you will take the helm of a diverse portfolio of new and renewal business. Your mission will be to drive profitable growth through sharp analysis and strategic decision-making while acting as a key face of Everest in the market. You will be empowered to cultivate and strengthen powerful partnerships with our key brokers, establishing yourself as a trusted and influential advisor.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Marketing and underwriting Excess Casualty business

Exposure identification for a wide variety of business @types

Contract analysis

Adhering to underwriting rules and guidelines

Developing and maintaining relationships with brokers to facilitate

a flow of desirable new business and to maintain renewal business via quality service

Collaborating with other product lines to provide full product

support to the client

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

Bachelor\'s degree or above and/or insurance certifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting casualty business

Demonstrated ability to generate profitable new business

Strong relationship management skills

Excellent analytical, communication, and computer skills

Ability to successfully complete multiple tasks concurrently within

a fast-paced, team-oriented, working environment

Customer-oriented approach

The base salary range for this position is \$120,000 - \$160,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications, and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
