About the Role:The Actuarial Practice of Oliver Wyman advises clients across a broad spectrum of risk management issues. We are a rapidly growing group with offices expanding across the globe. Our actuaries hold the highest professional qualifications and are nationally recognized as experts in their field(s). We use mathematical and statistical modeling skills and our qualitative assessment methodologies to assist clients in evaluating and addressing risk. Our solutions help clients manage and prepare for the potential financial consequences of uncertain future events. We bring a combination of broad-based expertise with specialized knowledge of specific risks, allowing us to provide independent, objective advice in the three primary areas of risk: healthcare, life and annuity, and property and casual.Health Care includes traditional actuarial services, such as the estimation of premium rates and claim liabilities, and high-level strategic advice to insurers, health care providers, government agencies, law firms and regulators.This role is a full-time 40 hours per week role. This is a hybrid role that requires a presence in the office 3 days per week. There is no option to be fully remote.Key Responsibilities:Practice/Project SupportAssist with Practice events organization such as meetings, off-sites, conference callsAssist Practice Leader with agenda settingCoordinate material needed, take meeting minutes and send out to participantsCoordinate Kick Off meetings, project meetings and internal meetings including team updates, case reviews and YERsKey contact for Partners, Finance and Legal on Contracts & InvoicesProvide support on document formatting and proposal handlingAssist the Chief of Staff with onboarding and offboarding of new Health staffSupport Salesforce and revenue processes including gathering data, updating templates and distributing final summariesSupport weekly time tracking for reconciliation/utilization reportsMaintain key practice documents as requiredManage and maintain the practice calendar including coordinating recurring practice meetings such as leadership team meetings and all-staff callsTake meeting notes for weekly all-staff callsManage the shared practice drive ensuring documents are current, clearly named and organized for easy accessMaintain templates and trackers for repeatable process (onboarding templates, etc.)Gather and update information for quarterly OWA newslettersTrack key dates and deadlines (e.g. survey windows, time entry, performance review cycles, etc.)Provide administrative support for internal initiatives and practice-wide projects led by the Chief of StaffBusiness Development/Practice Client DevelopmentPoint of contact for all clients and Oliver Wyman departments on behalf of Practice (Group)Assist with organization of all Practice Client events in collaboration with Events, Marketing and Practice PartnersDevelop deep understanding of Practice products and services in support of business development effortsUnderstand supported Partners' business goals and help to push them forwardDevelop excellent rapport with client assistants to facilitate access to senior leaders with existing and prospective clientsWork with assigned Partners to tier contacts (clients and prospects) and proactively coordinate outreach based on
