Eaton's Industrial Control Division (ICD) is hiring a Division Sales Manager . This position role may be remote within the US, and requires a minimum of 30% travel.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Division Sales Manager will be a key member of Industrial Control Division's commercial team responsible for Demand Creation, and Channel programs for a $360M Division. This role is responsible for development and execution of the Industrial Control Division's strategic plan with respect to channel development, top line growth, trade shows, training programs, overall sales enablement and division-wide analytics with the primary objective of meeting ICD's annual financial commitments and longer term strategic plan.
In this role you will:
Develop and deploy a rigorous cadence of reviews with field sales, Eatoncare, key strategic customer, and interunit customer to communicate to Monitor sales Pipeline close opportunities and build confidence in ICD's performance.
Manage team of regional sales managers who are responsible to assist all NAS sales verticals in opportunity closing and Sales planning. They will monitor and expand opportunity Pipeline and ensure that topline order objectives defined in Profit Plan for their respective regions are achieved.
Approves selection and helps manage ICD sales resources, including manufacturer's reps and others as needs arise. Executes contracts with legal support, provides onboarding services, and tracks commissions for finance accrual.
Develop and grow ICD's channel partners by creating unique tools, training and marketing collateral to increase ICD's presence within the Electrical sectors channel partners and grow the $270M in ICD sale meeting divisions profit plan and strategic plan targets.
Build out and manage a team of Data specialist that will create analytics and dashboards in PowerBI and Sales Force that will help the division be more efficient in visualizing its business and making decisions.
Collaborate with ICD product line managers, as relevant, in creating and executing profitable growth programs for all ICD products.
Act as face of ICD at channel partner events, customer visits, and internal meetings as requested including at Exec levels both internally and externally
Coordinate activities between corporate, sector, and marketing communications department initiatives and divisional marketing needs
Your Qualifications:
Minimum 15+ years' experience in Sales and Marketing
Minimum of 3 years directly managing others
Proven ability to grow commercial sales in the industrial control market
Prior experience working with channel partners, manufacturer's reps, and direct sales force
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
