For more information, visit:www.gpinet.comResponsibilities Inspect all material upon arrival at the job site to ensure accuracy Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with project specifications and building standards Review plans to identify potential issues Document inspections and report any issues Determine the quality of materials being used throughout the projectQualificationsA B.S. Degree in engineering or construction management is preferred A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Construction Inspector, including inspection of site/civil, is required. OSHA 30 hr. Proficiency with submittal systems Construction scheduling knowledge to support theproject team Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures; Uniform Code and NYC Supplement is preferred Experience maintaining field and office records and performing quantity calculations Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications Collaborate with multiple team membersRequirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final considerationPossess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job siteRead, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English languageBasic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team membersAble to stand for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hoursAble to traverse a construction job site consisting of uneven groun
