Position Summary:
As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for strategically enhancing financial efficiencies and initiatives. This will involve implementing best practices, aligning financial operations with evolving business needs, and fostering cross-functional partnerships to drive impactful decision-making. Your role will be crucial in bridging the gap between financial and operational realities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Develop and present Dynamic Forecasting (DF) plans, offering comprehensive insights into variances between forecasts and actuals at a budget cost structure level.
Conduct financial planning and analysis of state-specific Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) fees to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
Perform in-depth cost analysis of machine end-of-life processes to optimize financial outcomes.
Execute precise forecasting and planning for spare parts expenditure to align with operational needs and budgetary constraints.
Reporting & Analysis:
Generate comprehensive internal reports on performance metrics, emphasizing their financial impact.
Analyze and report on financial trends and pacing to support strategic decision-making.
Conduct precise weight reconciliation to ensure accuracy in reporting and processing.
Calculate business stream recycling rates to track sustainability performance.
Monitor machine repair rates to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Maintain awareness of industry regulations and assess their financial implications.
Stay informed about customer satisfaction levels and their correlation with operational impacts.
Business Case Development:
Develop robust business case methodologies to evaluate and initiate new projects effectively.
Provide clear insights into the impact of projects on Dynamic Forecasting (DF) and operational processes.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of return on investment (ROI) and cost savings to guide strategic project decisions.
Purchase Order and Invoice Management:
Create and distribute Purchase Orders (POs) for payment, ensuring compliance with Nestlé Procurement and Responsible Sourcing standards.
Monitor open and closed POs in accordance with Finance & Control (F&C) requirements to maintain accurate records.
Aggregate and document invoices promptly upon receipt to facilitate Dynamic Forecasting (DF) and End of Month (EOM) Accruals.
Monitor the depletion of POs as invoices are processed to ensure accurate financial tracking.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with invoices pending matching or errors within Nessoft.
Experience & Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required; preferably in Operations OR equivalent work experience
2 years professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and dealing with 3rd Party Warehousing strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
Excellent problem-solving skills - highly detailed oriented
Excellent administration and reporting skills
Effective influencing skills.
The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
