Amentum is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join our Operations & Maintenance team.
The Warehouse Coordinator provides hand tools, shop supplies and equipment support for the maintenance complex. Performs various routine duties pertaining to requisitioning, ordering, shipping, issuing, and controlling materials, parts, and tools.

Responsibilities:
Documenting and controlling receipt, condition, and issuance of all tools/parts for the facility.
Facilitate availability of tools/parts in a timely fashion to the facility.
Prepare, maintain, issue, and communicate receiving and issuance data, non-conformance documentation, maintenance records, and other instruments necessary for documenting the material control and warehousing processes and for maintaining auditable records.
Always provide excellent customer service to management team and technicians. Work with Technicians daily to issue parts needed to perform work within the facility.
Maintain records of on-hand inventory, perform cycle counts and otherwise verify the accuracy of the on-hand inventory records, and take other necessary precautions to avoid schedule delays related to material availability.
Ensure tooling is properly stored, protected, and maintained according to manufacturers and Company standards as required to preserve warranty requirements and protect against damage and loss.
Arrange and process returns, transfers, and outside services on tooling; prepare shipping documentation and instruments to transfer care, custody, and control of the tooling.
Receives, stores and issues hand tools, replacement tools, shop supplies and equipment.
Keeps records of tools issued to and returned by workers.
Searches for lost or misplaced tools and notifies supervision as required.
Prepares inventory and requisitions stock as needed.
Unpacks and stores new equipment.
Visually inspects tools for wear and defects and will order replacement tools as necessary.
Attaches identification tags or engrave identifying information on tools and equipment as needed.
Handles and disposes of hazardous materials IAW MSDS and applicable state and federal guidelines.
Maintains technical order files, E-Tools, bench stock, shop stock, CTKs, and hazardous waste areas.
Practices good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times.
Assists other personnel and work centers as directed.
Follows technical data, manuals, regulations, and other maintenance directives as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or the equivalent.
Ability to read and write and to comprehend technical instructions is required.
Proficient computer skills.
A working knowledge of general hand tools and their applications and the ability to read AFIs, tech orders and manuals.
Working knowledge of computer terminal operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with facilities equipment descriptors such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
Experience working in purchasing or subcontracting in a manufacturing, maintenance, or a related service field.
Experience with CMMS.
Experience overseeing storeroom operations.
Experience streamlining and improving inventory practices.
Additional Information:

Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other Amentum, customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations.
Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings and presentations.
Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.
Requires some moving of light to medium weight materials into desks, filing cabinets and other storage locations.
Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
Special Requirements:
Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable levels of performance and overall contribution are maintained.
Other Attributes:
Must be willing to work overtime when required.
May be required to work holidays and weekends.
