A Day in the Life of an ER Critical Care Unit Assistant (CCUA/NAR/CNA)As a Critical Care Unit Assistant in the Emergency Department, you will manage clerical activities and assist with patient care coordination to support medical staff efficiently. Your responsibilities include maintaining complete and systematically organized medical records, executing delegated direct care tasks under nurse supervision, and interacting professionally with staff, patients, and visitors to enhance communication and facility image. The role demands multitasking ability in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, where setting priorities and adapting to changing scenarios are daily expectations. In addition to routine duties, you will be responsible for inventory control, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in patient and equipment areas.
