Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join one of our clients on a contract basis in Columbus, Ohio. This role requires a keen eye for accuracy and a proactive approach to managing invoice processes and maintaining records. Ideal candidates will bring a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for learning.

Responsibilities:

Verify invoices to ensure proper coding and accuracy.

Maintain and organize the accounts payable inbox to facilitate efficient communication.

Process invoices with precision and timeliness.

Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies in billing or vendor statements.

Assist in maintaining accurate financial records for reporting purposes.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during invoice processing.

Provide support for ad hoc accounting tasks as needed.

Utilize any prior experience with D365 or similar tools to enhance workflow, if applicable.

Requirements

Proven experience with accounts payable processes, including invoice handling.

Ability to accurately code invoices and ensure proper documentation.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Trainable with a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems.

Familiarity with accounting software; experience with D365 is a plus.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.
