Description:
The Manager, Operations & Data Analytics manages philanthropic operations and data analytics to advance the strategic objectives of the Office of Philanthropy in the IL/IN Region through diverse and advanced duties. The Manager develops and maintains a comprehensive and systematic approach to the administration of funds raised from individual and institutional donors, including grants. Utilizing her or his own initiative, and in partnership with the Director, the individual will seek to manage the strategic use of philanthropic funds while centering donor intent and financially tracking impact. The Manager will also oversee data analytics from the Trinity Health Blackbaud CRM system to advance the strategic objectives of the Office of Philanthropy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fund and Financial Management
Working with the Philanthropy Operations Director, and in partnership with Finance, ensure the effective management, tracking and reporting of restricted philanthropic and grant funds, including the communication of fund balances, documentation of donor intent and monitoring contributions and expenditures.
With the Director, Philanthropy Operations and the Vice President, Philanthropy, coordinate a systematic, annual planning process to partner with and guide fund administrators to ensure philanthropic funds are strategically utilized to fulfill organizational and community needs and donor intent.
In partnership with Director, Philanthropy Services, generate meaningful financial reports to communicate philanthropic impact to major donors, private foundations, government grantors, annual donors, and other stakeholders.
Serve as liaison with Finance to ensure effective use of PeopleSoft and related systems for the effective management of philanthropic funds.
Analyze department expense data and budget reports (PeopleSoft and Insights) to provide leadership with information to accurately and effectively manage the department budget.
Data Reports and Integrity
Develop and maintain other data reports (such as 990, benchmarking, etc.) as needed to meet operational and management requirements.
Develop and maintain audit reports and routine data enhancements/appends to ensure integrity in constituent, prospect and gift data.
Serve as liaison with Trinity Philanthropy Services to ensure effective use of BBCRM and related systems to support operational and management objectives.
Develop and maintain dashboard reports to effectively and communicate progress toward individual and Office of Philanthropy such as production, pipeline and expenses.
Major Gift Prospect Generation and Management
Analyze data to routinely generate potential major gift candidates form current and lapsed donors, patient and families, physicians, community supporters and other sources.
Utilizing BBCRM, develop and maintain processes to manage major gift donor prospects through the donor lifecycle from initial connect outreach through stewardship.
Annual Giving Data
Analyze patient data to generate candidates of patients and families for the annual giving initiatives, resident alumni appeals, grateful patient outreach or other initiatives following the annual giving plan and as requested.
Develop and execute process to ensure annual giving and special event communications are recorded on constituent records in BBCRM.
What's required:
Bachelor's degree in Philanthropy, Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications or related field.
3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Minimum of three years of Development/Philanthropy or related experience, preferably in a health care setting.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $59,904- $95,846
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
