Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager/Supervisor to oversee critical financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting processes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead a team, manage month-end close activities, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Oversee general ledger activities, including reviewing and reconciling accounts to maintain financial integrity.

Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate and support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.

Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Review and approve journal entries, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and collaboration.

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Collaborate with other departments to align financial processes with organizational goals.

Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and apply them to company practices. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.

Expertise in month-end close procedures and general ledger management.

Proficiency in preparing financial statements and supporting audits.

Strong skills in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.

Experience with journal entry preparation and review.

Proven leadership abilities with experience supervising teams.

Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
