Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Downtown ABQ, NM (Onsite)

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, between 7:30 AM-6:00 PM (rotating monthly schedule)

Contract Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

Start Date: September 14, 2025

Job Description:

Join a leading electricity provider in New Mexico as a Customer Service Representative in their call center. You'll manage 40-50 inbound calls daily, assisting customers with utility service inquiries, billing arrangements, collections, and service connections/disconnections. Empathy and first-call resolution are key to success in this role.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of call center experience

Tenure of 1.5+ years at recent jobs

High-volume call handling (50+ calls/day)

Strong de-escalation and customer service skills

Ability to work with 3-5 software programs and dual monitors

Must work on-site for 6 months then potential for hybrid schedule

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Collections or utility experience preferred

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
