We're proud to be the #1-selling refrigerated dinner sides, including many varieties of feel-good favorites such as mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese. We're also a leading producer and distributor of sausage and bacon products, potato products, and egg products including liquid eggs. Our brand portfolio includes Bob Evans, Simply Potatoes, Egg Beaters and Owens Sausage. Bob Evans Farms is based in Columbus, Ohio. In September of 2017, Bob Evans Farms was acquired by Post Holdings, Inc. and is part of the Refrigerated Retail division.?Other divisions of Post include Post Consumer Brands (Cereal), Weetabix (Cereal - UK), Michael Foods (Foodservice), and 8th Avenue Food & Provisions (Private Label).?Post has aggressive growth plans for BEF, highlighted by the recent deployment of capital to support innovation, marketing and manufacturing. Responsibilities POSITION OVERVIEW: This position is responsible for new business development for Bob Evans Farms, Inc. This includes identifying sales opportunities and analyzing appropriate, strategic business and industry drivers. The position also develops, implements, and manages a sales strategy to achieve aggressive sales goals. This person will be accountable to grow the current relationship/business with one or more of our top ten customers. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Accountable for sales performance vs. plan (AOP delivery), revenue, and margin targets for assigned accounts and assigned categories Responsible for accurate demand plans and addresses gaps in customer strategic plan. Collaborates with broker teams to ensure key sales goals are achieved at assigned accounts Builds relationships with key decision makers and is responsible for day-to-day relationship at assigned accounts and is the primary contact for the buyer Conducts monthly, quarterly and annual business reviews with customers focused on sales results, new item performance, and growth opportunities Builds strategic relationship through joint business planning and customer collaboration Works closely with Category Management team to identify whitespace opportunities and to develop annual plans to address opportunity Communicates Innovation, category insights, shopper insights, that drive impactful results for our customers and Bob Evans Reviews analysis and consumer data to understand product performance and category trends Defines and communicates customer requests to the organization - becomes voice of customer to the organization Develops promotional plans and tactics; responsible for planning and managing promotional spending / calendar Executes revenue generation strategies including support for new item roll-outs, expanded distribution, and development of strategic category business plans Collaborates with various internal teams to create winning business propositions that be benefit Bob Evans and the customer (Category Management, Trade Management, Brand, Shopper Marketing, and E-Commerce) All other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required in Business Administration, or related field/ equivalent combination of education/ experience is preferred. Minimum of 7 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience preferred Strong customer service orientation Experience facilitating team activities related to new business opportunities
