Catholic Health is also proud to be voted one of Newsday's Top Places to Work on Long Island in 2018 and 2019 and Modern Healthcare's Best Place to work in both 2019 and 2020 Job Details Responsibilities: Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth Be responsible for the scheduling of the day shift Handle patient relations issues Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered and applies sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions Coordinate patient care activities, based on established priorities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning, and directs/delegates appropriately to members of the health care team. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, significant others, and members of the health care team about the patient's plan of care Salary Range USD $53.63 - USD $73.65 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
