Job Summary
With your ability in analytical thinking and problem-solving, you can strategically and tactically manage projects and maintenance activities. By balancing stakeholder needs and making informed decisions using data and experience, you will be a trusted advisor solving complex technical problems and meeting project milestones. Leveraging your analytical abilities will enable you to find trends, uncover insights, and propose solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your role will involve collaborating with diverse technical and business teams, keeping a focus on achieving shared goals, and navigating complexities in projects and maintenance activities.
Major Responsibilities
Developing and implementing high-quality software solutions.
Align technology goals with business goals in collaboration with management.
Oversee software project planning, execution, and delivery.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to offshore teams.
Work with product management, operations, and compliance for seamless software integration.
Communicate with executives, clients, and team members.
Find and mitigate software development risks.
Ensure system regulatory and policy compliance.
Promote innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.
7+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Open Pages (8.3.x and later) or Archer, including designing, developing complex flows for Governance Risk and Compliance space.
Extensive experience in the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) domain.
Strong experience with OpenPages or Archer user interface, workflows, configurations, views, calculations, security, triggers, helpers, APIs, object models, and integrations.
Strong experience in designing and architecting solutions on IBM OpenPages or Archer and Cognos Framework.
Proficient in Java or C# to develop and support IBM OpenPages or Archer
Proven track record of success working in high-functioning continuous delivery environment that supports outcomes for the business.
Experience in agile software methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and planning tools (e.g. JIRA)
Experience maintaining highly available and elastically scalable systems.
Skilled with modern IaaS, PaaS, and Linux system administration.
Solid understanding of modern API design patterns (REST, GraphQL, JSON, etc.)
Strong understanding of Data and Reporting systems.
Strong system security experience in system vulnerability and end of life management
Experience in communicating with user/clients, other technical team management to collect requirements, identify tasks, provides estimates and meets production deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction at all levels.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
Experience with the full lifecycle of IBM OpenPages or Archer version upgrades and migrations
7+ years of hands-on and strong background working with the Java, Python, or .NET development.
Exprience in batch scripting, and Linux environments.
Knowledgeable on Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
Strong analytical thinking and approach to problem-solving, innovation, and issue resolution.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $114K - $150K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
