Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Information Systems) in the Total Force Management Program Office (N1), Civilian Workforce Policy and Sustainment Division (N11), Recruitment/Staffing and CIVMAR Processing Branch (N11B), Marine Processing (N11B3). of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND. Responsibilities You will be responsibility for the control, operation and administration of ocean transportation by Government-owned or commercial vessels of personnel, cargo and petroleum for agencies of the Department of Defense (DoD). You will provide strategic human resources (HR) advisory services, leadership and guidance in the implementation and administration of civilian HR policy and procedures throughout MSC world-wide. You will advise on, plan, develop, monitor, direct and administer the Recruitment and Placement (afloat/ashore), Workforce Shaping and Civil Service Mariner Processing personnel management programs. You will be responsible for creating accurate personnel and position records in DCPDS for all newly hired CIVMAR employees. You will grants access to eOPF as necessary. You will perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
