What you'll do...
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced design and innovation leader to drive the creative, technical, and process transformation of our Women's Fashion CAD (Computer-Aided Design) function. In this role, you will lead the vision and execution for digital design workflows, ensuring our creative teams have the tools, systems, and processes needed to deliver on-trend, high-quality designs at speed.
You will serve as a trusted partner to executive leadership, guiding the evolution of our digital product creation strategies through CAD, PLM, 3D design, and AI-enhanced design tools. With a strong balance of creative vision and operational excellence, you will be responsible for optimizing workflows, building strong cross-functional partnerships, and ensuring the seamless integration of technology into the design process. This highly visible leadership role requires a blend of creative expertise, technical acumen, and strategic thinking to elevate our Women's Fashion portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
CAD Process Leadership: Define, optimize, and implement best-in-class CAD workflows that align creative vision with speed-to-market objectives. Drive standardization of digital design tools and techniques across Women's Fashion categories.
Creative & Technical Collaboration: Partner with design, merchandising, technical design, and production teams to translate trend direction and assortment strategies into high-quality CAD outputs that meet brand and product standards.
Technology Integration: Leverage PLM, 3D design platforms, and emerging design technologies to streamline product development, improve accuracy, and enhance creative visualization.
Project & Workflow Management: Lead the implementation of new CAD tools and processes, ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are managed effectively. Maintain oversight of project milestones, budgets, and cross-functional alignment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the key liaison between design teams and technology/operations partners, ensuring that business requirements are clearly defined and met. Proactively address bottlenecks and communicate progress to senior leadership.
Training & Development: Create training materials and lead skill development initiatives for CAD designers and cross-functional partners, ensuring adoption of new tools and processes.
Innovation & Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of industry trends in digital design, fabric simulation, AI applications, and fashion CAD to continuously evolve our capabilities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in women's fashion design, with at least 5 years managing CAD functions or digital design workflows in a corporate or brand environment.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CAD platforms, PLM systems, and 3D design software; experience integrating emerging technologies into design workflows.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead creative teams, manage complex projects, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Process Optimization: Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) within a creative or fashion environment.
Creative Excellence: Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and ability to balance creative vision with operational needs.
Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

The annual salary range for this position is $156,000.00-$312,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in fashion design, textile design, or related area and 8 years' experience in apparel design, garment construction, or related area.
Option 2: 10 years' experience in apparel design, garment construction, or related area.
5 years' supervisory experience.
