Position Summary...
Leading the studio engineering group, the solutions architect will help deploy cutting-edge computing infrastructure, perform systems management and maintenance duties, as well as provide support to artists and production personnel. This is a unique opportunity for a technical professional with a strong desire to continually learn new skills and further cutting-edge technology projects hands-on. You will manage a team of support vendors and software suppliers. You will also establish and strengthen relationships across the enterprise to be able to properly leverage enterprise support for production needs while working within enterprise solutions.
What you'll do...
Maintain studio hardware and software solutions.
Manage vendor relationships for all Integrated Production technology needs.
Build relationships with Global Tech partners to leverage enterprise support and ensure no redundant tools/solutions are being put in place.
Oversee technology budgets for Integrated Production to ensure the most efficient use of funds and anticipate costs before they arise.
Daily maintenance of the edit, color, and sound bays to ensure proper working condition while keeping up with industry standards.
Basic Qualifications
Ability to act independently and proficiently while in a high stress level environment.
Ability to evaluate system components, software, networking infrastructure and hardware peripherals for reliability, performance, scalability and security.
Experience supporting operators using Adobe Creative Cloud, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, Maya, Cinema 4D, Helmet, Iconik, Capture One, Shotflow and Pro-Tools and LucidLink.
Understanding of post-production workflows, notably editorial and sound.
Experience with Edit and Color Bay support. Including monitor calibration.
Knowledge of Networking: IPs/Subnetting/VLANs/Firewalls.
Experience with Server/PC hardware: Custom building, parts replacement, upgrades.
Operating systems: Linux (Centos/RHEL), Windows, MacOS.
Must be well versed in Linux terminal and related tool sets.
NAS Storage Solutions
Previous experience in a post-production studio is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity or experience working closely with motion design teams.
Experience with real time render engines such as Unreal, etc.
Familiarity with XR/Virtual Production workflows.
Experience with scripting/tool building.
Experience in the Marketing, Retail or eCommerce industry.
