Position Summary...
Walmart Creative Studio (WCS) is seeking a strategic, systems-oriented Program Manager to shape the future of resource planning within a large creative organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, brings rigor to operational design, and builds scalable frameworks for resourcing work across people, partners, and platforms.
Unlike daily staffing coordination, this role focuses on designing processes, models, and governance structures that enable creative operations to flex and scale with clarity and consistency.
What you'll do...
Strategic Resource Planning & Process Design
Lead discovery initiatives to understand current resourcing practices and identify gaps and opportunities.
Design future-state workflows, frameworks, and playbooks for scalable resource allocation.
Define governance structures, decision-making criteria, and internal vs. external sourcing guidelines.
Program Management & Operational Strategy
Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve operational clarity and alignment across teams.
Partner with Creative Ops, Program Management, and other stakeholders to institutionalize new standards.
Analyze project pipelines, scope shifts, and capacity metrics to support data-driven forecasting and decision-making.
Offshore Management & External Work Allocation
Serve as the primary liaison between WCS and offshore vendors, ensuring alignment on expectations, delivery models, and quality standards.
Build and maintain documentation and frameworks guiding external work allocation (offshore vendors, AI tools, internal teams).
Develop models that balance scale and quality while optimizing resource use across capabilities.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Change Enablement
Act as a connective thread across internal and external stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of resourcing models.
Foster adoption of new processes through documentation, training, and collaborative working sessions.
Champion change management efforts to embed new tools and practices into daily operations.
Documentation & Systems Integration
Own development and maintenance of core operational documentation tied to capacity and resource planning.
Collaborate with Data & Tools teams to ensure platforms (e.g., Airtable, Workfront) support designed workflows.
Partner with leads to evaluate and scale tools that improve visibility, coordination, and planning accuracy.
You're a Great Fit If You:
Bring 5+ years of experience in program management, strategic operations, or business process design-ideally in creative, marketing, or production environments.
Bonus: Have experience in resource planning or management within an agency or in-house creative organization.
Are a structured thinker who thrives in solving systems-level, cross-functional challenges.
Have a proven ability to design and implement scalable operational frameworks.
Can flex between big-picture strategy and executional details in ambiguous environments.
Are a strong communicator and facilitator, able to translate business needs into actionable plans.
Understand creative workflows and team dynamics, even if you haven't directly led creative teams.
