OurLove Senior Care Inc. is excited to announce a part-time opening for a dedicated Home Health Aide to join our exceptional team of healthcare professionals. This position is ideally suited for individuals eager to make a significant impact in the lives of our senior clients, ensuring their days are safer, more comfortable, and filled with the support they need. As a Home Health Aide within our organization, you will be tasked with providing crucial care services to our clients in their homes, thus this is not a remote job. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for every client by delivering high-quality, personalized care tailored to their specific needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Provide support for individuals with Dementia and Alzheimer's, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients to foster a sense of well-being.
Aid clients with mobility challenges as required.
Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and facilitate companionship.
Document care provided and promptly report any changes in client conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to formulate and implement care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual.

Requirements

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required.
Proven experience in home health, senior care, or a similar role.
Demonstrable knowledge of safety practices related to elder care.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with caregivers and medical professionals.
Ability to handle physical workload and assist clients with physical mobility and transfers.
Strong observational skills and ability to report changes in client conditions accurately.
Reliability and compassion are essential, with a demonstrated record of punctuality and integrity.
Current CPR certification.
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as client visits can require travel.
A respectful and caring attitude towards elderly clients, their families, and fellow staff.
