Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Miamisburg, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring invoices are accurately processed, approved, and paid in a timely manner. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your skills in accounting and communication while collaborating with vendors and internal departments.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices by accurately coding or matching them to purchase orders while ensuring necessary approvals are obtained.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve purchase order discrepancies and acquire required authorizations.

Communicate with vendors to address inquiries, request documentation, and reconcile account discrepancies.

Maintain accurate and organized records by scanning, filing, and copying relevant documents.

Apply knowledge of accounts payable practices and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Perform general clerical tasks to support the accounts payable function.

Assist in reconciling accounts and ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.

Support the department by identifying and implementing improvements to processes and workflows. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.

Familiarity with purchase orders, invoice coding, and account reconciliation.

Proficiency in general accounting procedures and practices.

Attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial documents.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Competence in using office equipment and software for clerical tasks.
