Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a thriving organization while gaining valuable experience in financial operations. Responsibilities:

Enter and process vendor invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.

Compile and maintain vendor data to ensure records are up to date.

Perform coding of invoices and ensure proper classification for financial tracking.

Conduct routine check runs and handle invoice processing efficiently.

Assist with ad-hoc accounts payable projects as needed.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures during all AP operations.

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflow.

Maintain organized records to support audits and reporting requirements. Requirements - Previous experience in accounts payable or a related financial role.

Strong skills in coding invoices and performing check runs.

Proficiency in invoice processing and data entry.

Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to manage repetitive tasks with efficiency and accuracy.

Familiarity with financial systems and software.

Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies.
