The role involves developing and implementing marketing plans, conducting market research, and managing budgets for Oncology and Reproductive Health applications. It includes aligning strategies with product offerings, improving brand awareness, leading digital marketing initiatives, supporting sales with tools and insights, and managing events. Collaboration with key partners and acting as a spokesperson at industry events are also essential.
A day in the life
Planning and Implementing Strategies:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies for Oncology and Reproductive Health applications.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Define and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Product Marketing:
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with product offerings.
Develop product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with target audiences.
Build and lead product launch plans, including go-to-market strategies and promotional activities.
Brand Management:
Improve brand awareness and reputation for Microarray solutions.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
Coordinate the creation of marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
Digital Marketing:
Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
Analyze digital marketing performance and optimize campaigns to achieve important metrics.
Manage the segment's online presence, including website content and online advertising.
Sales Support:
Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales tools and training materials.
Provide market insights and competitive analysis to support sales strategies.
Assist in the development of sales presentations and proposals.
Event Management:
Plan and lead marketing events, like conferences, webinars, and trade shows.
Coordinate logistics, promotional activities, and post-event follow-up.
Measure and report on the efficiency of event marketing efforts.
Collaboration with others:
Develop and uphold relationships with key collaborators, such as customers, partners, and industry influencers.
Act as a spokesperson for the company at industry events and conferences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on marketing initiatives with business objectives, including product management, commercial leadership, regional marketing, and marketing operations.
Keys to Success
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in global marketing, with a focus on healthcare, oncology, or reproductive health.
Proven history of developing and implementing successful global marketing strategies.
Strong understanding of genomics applications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Stong background in marketing equipment, reagents and consumables.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the healthcare industry.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
Advanced proficiency in data analysis and market research techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $112,500.00-$160,000.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
