We are seeking a supply chain manager to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world. In this role supporting Project Buy Sell, you will plan, coordinate, and manage allocations of infrastructure components across multiple manufacturers and suppliers.
In this role, you will:
Understand forecasting, demand planning, material planning, and manufacturing processes to manage inventory movements across the supply chain
Work with component suppliers and server manufacturers to analyze, adjust, and reconcile inventory levels across 30+ inventory locations
Participate in requirements gathering
Understand the supply chain network and work with various analytics and software development teams, driving automation
Develop analytical tools and dashboards to track metrics, monitor SLAs, and report findings
Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design
Project Buy Sell is an supply chain initiative changing the way AWS purchases and manages server component inventory. We are specialized team responsible for scaling and optimizing this exciting endeavor.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or an advanced degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field, or additional 4+ Years work experience in supply chain or sourcing or procurement of hardware in lieu of a degree
4+ years of work experience in supply chain , planning, procurement, manufacturing or 2+ years with advanced degree
2+ years of experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables ,SQL, Tableau, etc..
Preferred Qualifications
Experience creating, iterating, and improving end-to-end global component sourcing procurement and supply chain strategies
Excellent creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to solve complex problems that may not have one clear answer
Advanced knowledge of global component supply chain
7 +years professional experience (in high technology or consumer electronics)
MBA or advanced degree in engineering, operations research, logistics, mathematics or other quantitative disciplines
Experience with supply chain modeling and other statistical analysis tools
Advanced knowledge of data center products and their global supply chains

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $71,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $153,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
