In this role you will be working in an administrative capacity, focused on the Tecsys system and cycle count programs to enhance process and inventory management.
This position is onsite and salaried with a schedule expectation of 8 hours days with flexible start and end times between 6am and 6 pm, as the workload demands

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides expertise on distribution processes and complex system applications. This position proactively identifies new opportunities for the distribution operation to improve upon, using advanced scientific approaches and methods. Responsible for KPIs through a robust cycle count program and inventory management processes. Is the subject matter expert on warehouse and ERP applications. Develops methods of data analysis which facilitates both quality and efficiency. Responsible for creating functional documentation, reviewing technical documentation, system configuration, creating training materials and leading or supporting cross functional teams through projects and/or issues to achieve desired results. Operates within the operational team to influence process flow and design.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Oversees the warehouse management system, its upgrades and the operational requirements related to the ERP and other system integrations. Leads or supports projects related to the system testing, upgrades or integrations from the operations. Reports operational metrics to CSC leadership in support of KPI and other metrics.
Manages and supports a cycle count program, ensuring high accuracy and reliability of inventory with the regional distribution centers. Reports metrics and necessary data for financial physical inventory requirements. Designs, coordinates and performs audits of key functions to ensure data and process integrity; directs resolution of identified issues.
Creates, updates, and maintains training and operational process documentation. Supports the operational leadership with training of staff on standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Assures information is accurate and can be extracted in a variety of ways for the purposes of analysis. Maintains optimal operation of departmental application in partnership with IT or external software vendor, as appropriate. Develop a strong relationship with technology partners and collaborate in several areas, including application design, system optimization, and staying current on emerging technology related to all warehouse systems.
Works independently under general supervision. Conducts analyses and makes independent judgments to manage cost and quality outcomes. Position has responsibility for inventory management at the centralized regional distribution center. This requires good internal working relationships within materials management, Clinical Supply Managers, Contract Managers, Purchasing Manager, and Accounts Payable Manager.
Oversees additional projects and programs related to the distribution centers to support the growth and continuous operational improvement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires knowledge of supply chain management as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent working knowledge in supply chain management, business administration, healthcare administration or related field. Must possess a strong knowledge of supply chain management as normally demonstrated through two or more years of experience in a supply chain/materials management role, which includes extensive work with medical/surgical supplies and computerized inventory control.
Forklift Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Must also demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, including ability to effectively negotiate with others, as well as coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Position requires proficiency in supply chain management inventory systems, as well as personal software applications, including word processing, generating spreadsheets, and creating graphics/presentations. Must demonstrate ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams to resolve, implement or reach consensus on issues. Advanced business or clinical knowledge and demonstrated ability to utilize technical skills to resolve organizational needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with Lawson or similar Materials Management information systems is desirable. Experience working with warehouse management systems and integrations certified. Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) Certification is preferred. Experience with department specific software, including advanced integrated or independent report writing applications.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
