Shift Information: 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 5:00 am - 1:30 PM PST

Job Description:

We are thrilled to present an outstanding chance for a Band II Filling Operator to become a part of our top-tier team in Carlsbad. Your role will involve operating and maintaining filling and packaging equipment, guaranteeing high quality control, and strictly following regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions:

Run filling and packaging machinery, encompassing manual and automated filling devices, scales, labeling machines, band sealers, pumps, and filtration systems. Address basic troubleshooting requirements when necessary.

Weigh, measure, and check raw materials using a computer interface to ensure batches contain accurate materials and quantities.

Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.

Perform sampling and testing during production to verify that batches meet required standards.

Adhere to all safety practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Complete and maintain quality records in compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and SOPs.

Maintain equipment and work areas in accurate operating condition and cleanliness.

Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.

Preferred laboratory experience.

Ability to pipette is a plus.

Able to work in cold environments for at least 2 hrs (+4 environment).

Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities.

Attention to detail and a dedication to quality.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 to 50 pounds.

Work in a manufacturing environment adhering to safety protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $16.78-$25.17.
