Accounting Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Greenfield, Massachusetts. This role involves overseeing key financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:

Manage month-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

Oversee the general ledger and maintain accurate financial records.

Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

Coordinate and support audits, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution of findings.

Reconcile accounts and ensure discrepancies are identified and addressed.

Handle revenue cycle accounting, including monitoring and reporting on revenue streams.

Prepare grant reports and ensure compliance with federal grant requirements.

Utilize Sage Intacct to manage and analyze financial data effectively. Requirements

Proven experience in month-end close and general ledger management.

Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and audit processes.

Proficiency in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.

Experience with grant accounting and federal grant compliance.

Familiarity with Sage Intacct.

Solid understanding of revenue accounting and reporting.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
