Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, reconciling monthly expenditures, providing expense reports and utilizing feedback from company owner. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software: QuickBooks Online. This position will manage multiple lines of credit.

Duties Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. Conduct financial analysis and reporting. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections. Perform technical accounting tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures. Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with corporate finance regulations and standards. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Proven experience in accounting or a related field. Strong knowledge of financial concepts and principles, including double entry bookkeeping. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks. Familiarity with corporate finance practices and technical accounting standards. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work output. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Certification (CPA or equivalent) is an advantage.

Position is part time, up to 25 hours per week with benefits such as flexible schedule and hybrid work base. Ideal candidates would not be seeking full time hours, and would be comfortable reporting directly to management, as well as working with multiple businesses and projects.
