Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Carrollton, Texas, on a contract basis. In this role, you will oversee various aspects of financial management, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with internal controls.

Responsibilities:

Manage comprehensive accounting operations such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.

Analyze balance sheets and financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies to maintain compliance.

Prepare detailed financial statements for organizational review.

Supervise accounts payable specialists and create accurate cash flow projections.

Assist in audit preparations and corporate tax filings to ensure regulatory adherence.

Review accounting records to detect and resolve errors or imbalances.

Collaborate with team members to maintain efficiency in financial processes.

Support multiple financial projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining precision. Requirements - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Excellent analytical and organizational skills to manage complex financial tasks.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with professionals at all levels.

Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in problem-solving.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Solid understanding of month-end close, general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
