DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) as well as the finance, purchasing, records management, food service management, facility maintenance management, and security departments at South Mountain Restoration Center. You will prepare reports, complete projects, and provide recommendations for process and procedure revisions. You will analyze statistical reports and projection data to identify and address issues. This role requires the ability to work with considerable independence while managing the daily administrative functions of the COO's office. In addition, you will manage travel arrangements, serve as department timekeeper, and assist the COO with confidential investigations and reports.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs. Overtime as needed Free parking Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
