YOU
As a Warehouse Manager, you will oversee and lead the warehouse operations including managing staffing, equipment requirements, incentive programs, and inventory.
WHAT YOULL BE DOING(% of Time)
Develop and manage meaningful key performance indicators to enhance the effectiveness of the department, and create plans for improvement based on priority. (40%)
Provide leadership for supervisors/Leads of the warehouse while assisting with hiring, training, directing, disciplining and counseling employees. (30%)
Oversee daily warehouse operations, review daily performance and address issues as required. (20%)
Oversee cycle count inventory and audits throughout the year. (5%)
Responsible for startup of new warehouse facilities and planning expansions and additional storage racks (5%)
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
5 years experience in warehouse and logistics management required
3 years utilizing Lean manufacturing tools preferred
Understanding of financial components of Cost of Goods Sold, and the ability to relate department costs to organizations profitability preferred
SAP, or similar ERP system experience preferred
Project Management experience preferred
