Job Title: Temporary Production /Warehouse Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker and Production Clerk, where you will play a vital role in packaging and inspecting products, ensuring complete and accurate documentation, and supporting daily packing schedules. This position involves a range of responsibilities from preparing daily attendance sheets to managing inventory and maintaining organized stock levels.

Responsibilities

Package and inspect products to ensure quality.

Complete and maintain accurate paperwork.

Assist in the preparation of daily packing schedules.

Distribute production schedules to the appropriate personnel.

Prepare and collect signatures for daily attendance sheets.

Enter information accurately and revise for errors and discrepancies.

Send out daily production reports and master schedules at the end of shifts.

Ensure PPE cabinets are stocked.

Issue batch cards using Assistics.

Assist on the packaging line and with special tasks, such as making boxes.

Communicate effectively via email or radio/walkie-talkie.

Manage inventory, ensuring goods are stored correctly.

Ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies or damages.

Store goods in designated areas and maintain organized stock levels.

Utilize RF scanners for picking and packing.

Prepare orders for shipment and conduct cycle counts.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Skills

Ability to lift 30-50 pounds.

Experience in packaging, production, and warehouse operations.

Proficiency in using RF scanners.

Strong attention to detail for inspecting products and documentation.

Effective communication skills for collaboration and reporting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) environment.

Experience with palletizing and heavy lifting.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is a GMP and SOP regulated warehouse, where safety and cleanliness are paramount. Employees must wear safety work shoes with reinforced toes and slip resistance, and dress appropriately in durable work pants and shirts that cover shoulders. Long hair must be tied back, and jewelry is not permitted. You will be part of a facility that produces various blends and spices for high-profile clients.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastvale, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
