Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance/Accounting organization. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role will focus on core accounting responsibilities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable support, and assisting with monthly close activities.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in accounting principles under U.S. GAAP, a keen attention to detail, and is eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain exposure to corporate accounting, government contracting requirements, and audit processes, with a clear path for advancement.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare and post routine journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve variances in a timely manner.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, collections, and reconciliations.
Help prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
Assist with compliance activities, including SOX and government contract accounting requirements.
Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by the Assistant Controller.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and support system integrations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
1-3 years of accounting experience.
Basic understanding of U.S. GAAP; exposure to SOX or government contracting is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; advanced excel skills strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
US citizenship is required due to government contract work.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 56,900.00 - 105,700.00
