Custom Software Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Austin, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Custom Software Engineering Manager in Austin, TX, and the job duties are as follows:

Design, develop and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications.

Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components.

Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications.

Architect development strategy for applications and components.

Coordinate development streams in line with overall program(s) timing and milestones.

Build deployment plan, including the development plan and schedule, keeping in line with overall project timeline.

Design, build, assemble, and configure application or technical architecture components using business requirements.

Team with stakeholders on application and component design to secure buy in.

Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

Designing, developing, and supporting SAP ERP projects, including SAP BW/4HANA, Data Migration, and SAP reporting;

Utilizing Business Warehouse and Business Objects Data Services, including data load from multiple sources, Datawarehouse, DataMart, and operation data store;

Extracting, cleansing, and transferring data from data sources including HANA, SQL Server, DB2, Access, Excel, CSV, and Flat Files;

Performing end-to-end SAP BI life cycle implementations, including planning, requirement gathering, designing, testing and go-live;

Delivering business intelligence solutions using BI reporting tools, including SAP Business Objects, Microsoft Reporting suite, and SAP Analytics cloud;

Technical delivery and project management in waterfall and agile methodology; and

Leading and mentoring cross-functional teams across multiple locations.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
