DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Licensed Psychologist, you will provide psychological services to patients receiving treatment in a civil commitment sex offender program. You will perform independent and specialized clinical work in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting, assess patient psychological services needs, and ensure that appropriate treatment is provided in the least restrictive environment. This role requires developing multidisciplinary Comprehensive Individualized Treatment Plans (CITP) and the ability to set treatment goals that will improve patient psychological and emotional behaviors. In addition, you will serve as a mentor to Psychological Services Specialist (PSS) staff, provide supervision for doctoral clinical psychology interns and practicum students, and recommend modification improvements to mental health programs.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirement: You must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirementis currently waived for this title.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
