The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is a sex offense specific treatment program in a modified therapeutic community and secure setting that provides comprehensive services to 740 civilly committed clients. Services include sex offense specific treatment, education programming, therapeutic recreation, vocational programming and volunteer services.
The Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) is seeking an individual to join our team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as an Office and Administrative Specialist, Senior for our St Peter, MN location.
The Office & Administrative Specialist, Senior provides technical program and administrative support services for the Minnesota Sex Offender Program (MSOP) Facility Director, Assistant Director, Residential and Security Program Manager, and other areas within the program as assigned. The incumbent of this position will collect, process, and distribute information, facilitate and coordinate meetings, prepare policies, post orders, job coach modules, manager facility workflows and provide summaries of findings and recommendations for solutions, improvements and cost savings.
Responsibilities Include:
Coordinate and facilitate meetings, collect data information at meetings, and research and respond to issues/concerns.
Create, maintain, edit, and distribute facility operations and security records and documents.
Maintain a comprehensive data collection for the facility's quarterly reports
Facilitate campus and program meetings and videoconferences for the administrative team or other MSOP departments as assigned.
Act as a Client Placement Committee Coordinator for the MSOP CPS site.
Schedule and coordinate meetings, tours, facility visits, and other events.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the MSOP CPS Facility Director, Assistant Facility Director and/or Security and Residential Program Manager
Minimum Qualifications
A Highschool diploma or GED
Customer Service skills sufficient to provide information to clients, staff and outside stakeholders in a prompt concise, courteous and professional manner.
Data Entry skills sufficient to create and maintain database records/documents and retrieve/distribute information in databases and the ability to create Graphs
Database Management skills sufficient to create, retrieve, analyze and maintain information in a variety of databases; complete quarterly reporting and integrate date into reports and/or graphs.
Desktop publishing skills sufficient to produce documents that effectively communicate information for diverse groups of staff.
English Language skills sufficient to read, write, understand and compose correspondences with accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation; and to communicate effectively verbally and writing with diverse co-workers, customers and the general public.
Spreadsheet skills sufficient to develop and modify spreadsheets, sort and extract data.
Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to compose meeting agendas, handouts, meeting notes, reports, letters and data summaries.
Word processing skills sufficient to develop, format and modify a variety of documents including correspondences, records and reports, procedures, modules and summaries; perform mail merges, develop forms and charts.
