Job Details:
The Network Manager, Revenue Cycle Analytics & Training is responsible for the optimal integration of Revenue Cycle Health Information Technology (RCHIT). The Network Manager, Revenue Cycle Analytics & Training will act as a liaison between revenue cycle teams, clinical teams, and general and clinical applications teams to ensure healthcare technology systems are utilized effectively to achieve desired operational outcomes. The Network Manager, Revenue Cycle Analytics & Training oversees educational initiatives in areas of electronic health record (EHR) utilization, data reporting, and other areas where Revenue Cycle technology and clinical care intersect. The Network Manager, Revenue Cycle Analytics & Training manages the daily functions and operations of the Revenue Cycle Network Training department. As a member of the Revenue Cycle Leadership Team, the Network Manager, Revenue Cycle Analytics & Training is responsible for successful testing and communication of Revenue Cycle related modifications to WMCHealth Network's electronic medical record (EMR) and associated applications; developing Revenue Cycle workflows and job aids; assisting Revenue Cycle Leadership in ongoing process improvement; and ensuring success of training for all revenue cycle areas within the hospitals under Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHN). Travel to all WMCHN hospitals is required as directed by Revenue Cycle Senior Leadership. Performs other duties as required
Responsibilities:
Serves as a liaison between Revenue Cycle teams, clinical operations teams, and information technology (IT) teams to ensure effective integration and utilization of healthcare technology systems as they relate to Revenue Cycle operations
Collaborates on project teams throughout life cycle of Revenue Cycle systems/applications
Participates in EHR releases/updates/upgrades/testing/etc. to determine the impact on Revenue Cycle operations and workflows
Responsible for communicating Revenue Cycle related modifications to WMCHealth Network's EMR and associated Revenue Cycle applications to all involved parties
Develops and maintains Revenue Cycle workflow diagrams, job aids, educational materials, manuals, evaluation forms, training videos, etc. of Revenue Cycle operations
Regularly conducts rounds at all hospital Revenue Cycle areas to gain insight into informatics in @context with day-to-day operations
Provides on-site direct leadership and management, by coaching, developing, and empowering direct reports
Utilizes education, experience, and analytical judgment to perform critical job elements ensuring patient, staff, and physician/clinician satisfaction; and fostering positive relationships
Identifies areas for process improvement and daily quality monitoring of key performance metrics and accuracy of accounts
Follows a monitoring system to understand trends and system issues
Responsible for all RCHIT functions that contribute to the management and execution of insurance veriï¬cation, authorization, medical necessity, scheduling, preregistration, registration, notification of admissions, generating estimates, and ï¬nancial counseling of inpatient and outpatient services
Performs various personnel actions including hiring, performance evaluations, schedules, and termination and weekly timecards
Ensures adequate professional staffing levels and coordinates staffing needs to support areas of responsibility
Attends meetings and conferences related to job functions and responsibilities
Qualifications/Requirements:
Experience:
5 years of experience in hospital Revenue Cycle required. At least 3 years of supervisory experience required (not specific to healthcare). At least 2 years of experience in training, education, content development, project management, or similar/related experience, required. Advanced education, certifications, and/or experience can be considered to meet requirements.
Education:
Associate degree required. Bachelor's degree, preferred. Master's degree preferred.

Special Requirements: Thorough knowledge in all aspects of registration, insurance veriï¬cation, authorization requirements, federal and non- federal billing regulations, and NYS programs such as Charity Care; thorough knowledge of governmental, federal, state and local regulations related to admissions; thorough knowledge of organizational policies, procedures and systems; good knowledge of medical terminology; ability to use computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e- mail, and database software; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate eï¬ectively; resourcefulness; initiative; tact; good judgment; discretion; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
