Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for an efficient and adaptable Customer Service Representative to join our team for a special event in Roseville, California. This is a contract position requiring individuals who thrive in dynamic, outdoor environments and can assist with various event-related tasks. Ideal candidates will be comfortable standing, moving, and interacting with attendees throughout the day.

Responsibilities:

Assist with event check-in, including scanning QR codes and providing necessary materials to attendees.

Support setup and breakdown of event stations, ensuring all areas are organized and functional.

Distribute medals at the finish line and manage water stations to enhance the attendee experience.

Provide clear and friendly communication to guests, addressing any inquiries or directing them to appropriate areas.

Maintain a positive and detail-oriented demeanor while representing the event.

Dress appropriately for outdoor conditions, including mud or dirt, and wear closed-toed athletic shoes.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth event operations.

Follow guidelines for attire and event protocols to uphold the event's standards.

Ensure the safety and comfort of attendees by monitoring activity at various stations.

Assist with packet pickup prior to the event, handing out materials efficiently. Requirements - Previous experience in customer service or event coordination is preferred.

Ability to stand and move around for extended periods without physical limitations.

Comfortable working in outdoor conditions, including uneven terrain.

Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing needs during the event.

Must be reliable and punctual to ensure smooth operations.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment.
