DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be participating in weekly team meetings to discuss, gain knowledge, and receive feedback from the entire team regarding unique or complex cases. You will be responsible for providing advice to the Commission and Hearing Examiners as part of the adjudicatory process. Work involves evaluating and reviewing Hearing Examiner recommended opinions as well as performing independent reviews of Hearing Examiner orders. You will also have the opportunity to provide counsel and advice to the Chief Counsel and the Executive Director.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Philadelphia. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Five years of professional legal experience and graduation from an accredited school of law; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Post Employment Requirements: Applicants must be certified for admission to the Bar of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and must maintain membership on a continuous basis during employment.

Additional Requirements: You must possess Civil Rights, legal, and contract experience. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
