Job Description Summary
The Senior Manager, Internal Audit Operations, will be responsible for ensuring that Internal Audit operates with excellence (i.e., aligned with Global Internal Audit Standards, within budget, with timely reporting and executive presentations that are clear and meaningful). The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, operational rigor, and a collaborative mindset to enhance audit quality, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with BD's global risk and compliance framework.

Key responsibilities:
Manage internal audit governance and ensure policies, procedures, methodologies, templates, and activities remain current and in compliance with the Global Internal Audit Standards and consistent across regions.
Execute the IA Quality Assurance Improvement Program (QAIP) including annual self-assessments and external assessments in accordance with the Global Internal Audit Standards.
Monitor and track departmental metrics (i.e., our department dashboard performance), including audit plan status/performance, audit observation closure, auditee survey feedback, etc.
Contribute innovative ideas to continuously improve the audit methodology and audit procedures. This includes the strategic deployment of technology in collaboration with the IA Data Analytics team to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of audit procedures and increase value to the business.
Prepare and coordinate clear and relevant executive presentations and Audit Committee materials.
Manage Audit Operations Senior including defining individual impact goals, periodic performance reviews, and career development.
Coordinate bi-annual IA strategy meetings, create/update and track the status of IA department goals.
Manage IA department budget, resource scheduling, and audit software (AuditBoard)
Establish and maintain relationships with key Internal Audit collaborators.
Coordinate and manage audits, special projects, and reviews as needed.
Contributor to the data analytics program for Internal Audit including contribution to identification of new analytics and refinement of existing ones.
Ability to travel up to 10% globally.
Required Skills and Knowledge :
B.A./B.S. in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
7-10 years of relevant progressive experience, including 3 years in financial or internal auditing.
Strong understanding of business processes and related controls.
Strong project management skills.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP & JDE.

Solid understanding of data analysis tools (PowerBI, ACL)
CPA, CIA or CFE

Salary Range Information
$143,300.00 - $236,500.00 USD Annual
